This sucked

I was excited to see this. The idea of an 'Elf 2' movie never appealed to me (what was left to say?), but an animated special showing Buddy's further adventures? Now that I could get behind.

My first disappointment was that this didn't tell a new story, and instead just rehashed the plot of the movie.

And then there was the fact that Jim Parsons is apparently just as annoying in voice over as he is in person.

And finally the fatal flaw -- It wasn't funny.

Halfway through my seven year old even said, "Can we watch something else?"

Truly terrible. Stick with the Will Ferrell movie, and don't bother with this garbage.
