Overkill bullying #5

It was fun when Chanel teased #5 in season 1, it was the basis of their relationship but they're slightly overdoing it this season.

I think #5 will go back on her meds at some point since it's a recurring theme and it will settle down some.

I agree, I'm actually starting to like #5 more and feeling bad for her. I hope she stands for herself at some point and becomes their equal

reply

I think it's pretty funny. Even though they bully her, they still stick together and even went with her to find Tyler. I think Chanel wont admit that #3 and #5 are her best and only friends.

I find it charming that they always bully her. I know that sounds bad, but it has never bugged me. It has never crossed the line into too much, or too malicious. Like another user pointed out, those 3 are always hanging out and they're all each other have.

I don't know, I'd almost be disappointed if they didn't rip on Number 5 at least a couple times every episode. It's a hilarious aspect of the series.

I agree. I'm not a fan of #5 or Abigail Breslin, but it feels like they've crossed the line a bit so far. I dunno... out of the three, her acting was just so awkward and stilted, that I got a kick out of the teasing in season 1, but it's starting to feel overly nasty IMO.

not if it has some payoff like #5 getting some revenge somehow or becoming the hero in the end and a bigger celebrity than the other two.

It was funny in the first season because she was bullied but she put up with it because she wanted to be part of the sorority in group, so allowed herself to be treated badly in order to ladder climb. A lot of people do this in real life. She had money, free will, family , etc. and was free to leave any time but chose to stay for her own gain.

This season, she is just a broke young girl stuck in a bad situation with no way out and no family or friends who care about her. It is just sad and hard to laugh at.
