Recently in Australia a "paid parental leave scheme" was put forward by the prime minister.
It was rejected.
I think this film is the perfect example of why we need such a scheme, in the USA as well, and all of Europe.
We already have it in Sweden. It's great! We have a more equal society because of it - and the dads need to be home as well for the couple to get the money. More and more dads spend time with their children - which is great on so many levels.
