No Oscar nomination?

Enyone else jaw droped when this haunting gem wasn't (at least) nominated for best documentary? I found it absolutely amazing and such a haunting experience.
"Haunting" is a great word for it. I love that that interstitial digital simulation was based on his prediction that movies won't even need actors anymore. It's WELL WORTH noting that his final expression in his final scene in a movie was digitally altered to appear like he was smiling. In actuality he refused to smile for Frank Oz.
The whole thing is just so godd-mn ironic.
It's better than any of the trashy "it's based on second or third world stuff so WE MUST-- MUST-- NOMINATE IT" documentaries I saw last year, and it's definitely one of my top 100 films of all time.
