Maddie and her "friends"

Love this show! But, sick of Maddie saying that her friends are her everything and all that she has. I get it I was teen once, (last year) lol, but my God get over it. She has been at that house for 2 weeks and she has yet to tell any of her friends about her situation so obviously she isn't as close as she thinks she is and it really is bothering me that no one is giving her a reality check about that. And who was that guy at the end? He wasn't even mentioned in the preview.

Maddie is going through some big changes. It'll take her a while to fully realize who her real friends are and who she can depend on. It was only two weeks ago that she discovered she is an alcoholic. Can't expect her to just, IDK, flip a switch and know all the right answers. Maybe some people can flip that switch. But not everyone is the same.

Also, I wouldn't rule her friends out as bad influences just yet. They might actually sympathize and support Maddie. Who knows, right? It may not seem that way after watching how hard they party - but they can still surprise her (and us). :)
