Second season? - Recovery Road (2016) Discussion

I have no idea, but I sure hope so.
This board isn't very active, which leads me to believe the show could be short lived.

I hope they give it at least one more season and promote it better. I only found out about it through the afterbuzz "the fosters" chat.

The show is really good. I wish this board was more active. I come here every week hoping to discuss the show but there's nothing.

I still can't believe Wes was arrested for killing Diesel. ASA and Harper totally set him up.

This was just the spring finale. I'm not sure if they consider renewal yet. They might wait to see how the ratings are for the second half of season one.

I really hope it doesn't get cancelled. There are sooo many teen/young adult shows where characters drink and use drugs excessively, it's so refreshing to have a show focused on the recovery side of addiction.

We don't know yet. I'm thinking they are waiting to see how the new shows do before making a decision, but it seems like the network is trying to rebrand judging by the plots of the new series, most of them are paranormal or supernatural.

I would be surprised if it got renewed. This show doesn't have the fan base other shows in its niche (catering towards teens) does. I was looking forward to this as I'm a huge skins fan and two of the actors in this were in that show, but something about it just doesn't resonate with me. It's a little too "on the nose" about certain issues and the corniness makes it hard to like at times. That's just my opinion though.

Epguides has already marked it cancelled/ended after 10 eps. Hopefully, it's a mistake.

Shadowhunter never took a break they had 13 episodes in season 1 and have been renewed. Recovery road only has 10 episodes listed with no news of a renewal. Stitchers went almost a whole year before the second season aired only airing a holiday episode in between. We might be in for a long road before finding out what happens to Wes. This is in my top favorites on this channel one they always seem to cancel the ones I like, 9 lives of Chole King, the lying game. I hope this does pick up for a second season it has a lot of potential as opposed to Fosters which is just Callie and Brandon with the back and forth i love you I hate you *beep*
