Dachshund: It's not hard to say. Even a moron can manage it.

Anyone who calls these dogs, wiener dogs, needs to be tied to a chair and be vigorously beaten about the head with a wiffle ball bat until they learn to use the breed's correct name.

reply

I have 2, and refer to them as my wieners all the time. Anyone who has a problem with that is an ass, there's bigger problems in the world than the pronunciation of a dog breed. If you have a problem with that you can take it up with my wiener(s).

reply

Weiner dog trivializes the breed.

The dogs deserve the respect of being referred to by their proper name.

I'll send Dachshund rescue over to retrieve the dogs and have them placed in a loving home.

reply

Please learn the correct spelling of 'wiener'. It is disrespectful to the breed to misspell their name.

I dont own a wiener dog and i dont want to. But you can own one and call a dachshund or whatever u want and stick it up rear end. Itll fit nicely no matter how you call it. When you do, come back here and write about your lovely experience, i doubt there will be complaints about animal abuse.

Sometimes I call it a weiner dog, sometimes I call it a dachshund. I know how to say dachshund.

I've yet to see a dog give a flying fudge about what you call it, as long as you don't call it late for dinner.
