Most parents are horrible, evil people.
(a) She was mentally ill, prone to anxiety attacks and emotional outbursts.
(b) Her painting was destroyed, and she saw a trail of small childlike footprints leading away from the scene. Would your first guess have been that a doll did it?
Possibly when the footprints left were much smaller than her son's!
