Terrible but Mads Mikkelsen is great in everything
Love Mads Mikkelsen, but this film is mostly garbage.
shareUp until this point I’ve never commented on a movie I didn’t finish, but I could only get maybe 1/4 of the way into this before I finally had to call it quits, and I LOVE over the top, exaggerated, violent highly stylized movies.
If you have talent, like Tarantino or Kim Jee-woon, you can pull it off with flair and style, otherwise, you get meretricious tripe like this.
I love Mads Mikkelsen too but his presence just wasn’t enough of a draw for me to keep watching this.
I watched it with my husband. Frankly I would have turned it off much earlier on but...my husband is a "to the end of the movie" person. I'm not.
shareThere’re movies that are bad in a good enough way that you can keep watching them, then there are movies like this, where you are so inundated with artistically rancid creative choices within such a short period of time that you no longer care if the movie eventually redeems itself.
I’m a huge fan of Mads Mikkelsen, but he should fire whatever agent got him involved in this stinkbomb.
