Season 1 finale

The last episode felt like a cop-out.

Everyone you thought was dead is alive. All of the people are happy. The story has been reset to square 1, except for earthquakes now happening.

It's like the "it was only a dream" finale, only slightly cheesier.

One could assume that but don't forget that the episodes are meticulously planned out to maximize heart-wrenching feelings.. It was a turning point: Carmilla felt she needed to do something to save everything she loved and let those she loved know how she felt about them.

We're talking abut a show where the tragic back story was told through the use of sock puppets, I expected everyone to come out alive. Would I have your opinion if this was on TV and fell under the drama category? Sure, but this is not a drama on television, it's a 5 minute long web series on YouTube and for that the finale was decent, I can't really fault the writers for going with the cheesy, happy , we won the day, and then we lost it cliffhanger ending. At the end of the day I don't hold it to the expectations I hold a television show or movie I like it for what it is.
