Why does this show have such a low

imdb score? Makes me almost not want to watch it. It looks good.....

It has serious flaws (it is very bad at times). Without them, it could have made for the show I think we all were expecting.

The acting is for the most part, terrible (the good actors are the minority with this show). And the writing will leave you wondering how they could get away with so many holes in the plotline - with how smartly written television shows generally are in 2015.

If you have an hour to spare, give it a watch. Even though it is far from perfect, it has its moments and I am looking forward to how it plays out (which is why I watched the second episode).

Yeah, it's strange, bad as it is I plan to keep watching.

Let me count the ways. I tried to enjoy this, but every character seems like a stereotype of generic archetypes, but with poor writing and predictability because its all been done before. And apparently the poster-child of this show--some Disney Channel starlet--is in barely any scenes and has nothing redeeming or interesting about her character.

It's all pretty bad. Everyone's dead, but the kids are just as casual as can be. The government makes no efforts to put experts in the field to discover a cause. The immediate reaction is "kill kids that try to escape." We don't have a President. We have some kind of Orwellian "minister" who broadcasts empty sympathies but no actual media coverage of something that should be dominating headlines around the world.

Then there's the occasional Lord of the Flies mentality, but apparently the only folks in this town doing anything is a family of misfit criminals and a spoiled rich kid and his varsity cronies.

Meh. I gave it three episodes. I think I'm done.

...Disney Channel starlet...

Jennette McCurdy spent about 8 years as a Nickelodeon star. She was great at comedy. This? It's a paycheck.

Nobody cares what we think about this.

It sucks. Out loud.

This is one of the worst shows I've ever watched.

I think most people watched the first episode and immediately gave it a bad score... Which if you ask me, should speak for the first episode not the entire series but that's how most people vote so whatever.

Between is flawed... The first episode was bad, but for me it still felt like it had a bit of promise. The second episode is good, compared to the first it's literally like night and day. Despite its flaws, Between has some intense moments and if you have patience could be rewarding.

Well the primary and near universal complaint is the pathetic attempt at acting on the show, and that didn't change. I couldn't take the full third episode (why do you have no emotion, Adam?), but unless they do a huge recast or those kids actually learn something, the rating would be the same for every episode.

Because people expect a low budget show to be like a show on cable channels that cost 4 mil/episode Lol cause like thats going to happen, I'd suggest you never pay attention to imdb score EVER and check it out for yourself and judge it..
