Not Improving

I keep thinking the writing is going to get better but so far, not happening.

Dairy cows gone? Where did they go? Poachers or was Gord dumb enough to kill milk producing cattle for meat? Egads. He is suppose to be a farm kid and anything by explanation would have been nice, like the cows starving due to a lack of corn/hay. Why does no one in this rural community keep chickens?

Meanwhile half the cast looks like they should die next week-- none of the leads look under 22. The acting is still iffy. And the more science guy talks about the virus, the less sense it makes. There is nothing magical about turning twenty two.

However a virus that kills you when puberty stops (and various changes occur within the body) sometime between the age of 15 and 25 would, on the other hand, have made a scientifically more plausible scenario.

There was tiny glimmer of hope there toward the end of season 2 and then the evil drug company did things that only make sense because they are an evil drug company. You have a drug that has healed cancer, blunt trauma and who knows what else... so of course the only way to make tons of money off of it is to release the virus.
