Horrible
This is among Netflix's worst written shows. Too on the nose and all the narrative is dialogue driven. Netflix should make the writers take a class in screen writing.

shareHow many episodes have you watched?
I doubt you have watched them all.

The first hour was boring, contrived, and very poorly written. I didn't feel the need to waste five more. The adage goes "If you don't grab them in the first ten minutes you'll lose them forever."
shareThanks for clarifying.
I never heard that "adage". It sounds very millennial.
Even so I do not ascribe to it.
Having watched the entire show (to date) I can say that overall it is quite entertaining.
PS Here is an excerpt from a review I wrote:-
"I am pretty lazy here on IMDb and rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to do so given the utter trash that has been written thus far. Where do people get off writing a review of an entire show based upon 1 or 2 episodes?
The show is a slow burn. It takes a few episodes to set it up. It is best binge watched. I watched both seasons in less than 24 hours. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is not without its flaws but it did what a TV show is meant to do: entertain!
I have rated it a 9 but truth be told it really probably should be an 8 or an 8.5. The current sub-6 rating is totally unwarranted in my opinion."

It's a quote by Harry Cohn - far from being a 'millennial'.
I'm happy you liked it. Many didn't not. Not that that matters. Taste is subjective.

My friend, you are more forgiving than I.
shareSeason two has been a big improvement. It'll never be a Emmy winner but it's become very watchable imo
shareI'm just finishing up episode 2 right now and I don't think it's horrible. I do think it's taking a little bit to get going, but here I am at the end of episode 2 and there is a development. Definitely has me wanting to know where that goes.
Plus, it has Sam from iCarly! That makes me want to watch it even more! Just so you know, I have a young daughter, so I get to watch lots of Nickelodeon and Disney! Lol?
Not really a "Netflix show" though. It's a Canadianshow that they helped fund.
