Is Adam a robot?

I was wondering the same thing! He's so flat in his line delivery!

I was wondering if it was just me?!?! Now I know it isn't but I'm just wondering why this guy is so blank? Almost like he's bored to death to act his part or got injected with too much Botox something just seems off to me.....I have to admit I recognize him but can't really say I've ever seen him act before if I have it obviously wasn't too memorable! Anyway hope his style of delivery improves I'm only on episode three tryin to hang in there since so many of you said things improve after the beginning!

I don't think the show is outright horrible. The premise is interesting. But the one thing that really takes me out of the whole story is the fact that I can't bring myself to care about the characters all that much. I think Jennette McCurdy is a great actress (or at least, she has been in her past projects) but her character, Wiley is just a stick-in-the-mud so far. And with such little backstory about her, I don't feel like I know her at all.

Adam is her friend, right? The geeky one with the poofy hair? He's my least favorite part of the show, for sure. I don't like Wiley all that much, but I like her enough to NOT want her to get together with him. He's so monotone and boring. Aside from Wiley, her sister, Chuck, Amanda, and the farmer guy, (Gorg? George? IDK) I can't keep the rest of the characters straight. And I'm already up to S1 Episode 4...
