I'd be surprised if it gets more than $50 million domestic. For comparison, the 2015 Spongebob movie did $160 million in North America. SpongeBob is much more popular than MLP.

The last "girly" show that had cross demographic appeal that was turned into a movie that I can remember was the Powerpuff Girl movie, which bombed.

One big X-factor is the song quality. Frozen basically made a billion dollars off one catchy song. I don't think MLP has had a good song in awhile, though. Not since Rainbow Rocks actually. Really hope they don't do generic pop songs.
