I hope so, although I'd think John de Lancie would be listed in the cast list already...then again, there's no Celestia or Luna or anyone either, and they're virtual guarantees, right? So there's probably a great chance. Hopefully someone who knows can confirm (I'm thirsty for any details about the movie...;)

shareI'm not really surprised. Discord is very strong, so it would be hard for any villain to pose a threat with Discord around, not to mention that the Mane 6 won't have much to do.
shareSuppose that's true when you think of it that way...any villain who'd pose a threat to him would have to even more outta-this-world, and that's tough to do. xD Wonder who it'll be (assuming there's a villain, which is probably a good bet.)
I had just sort of expected Discord to pop up at least briefly because he's become such an important supporting character, and he was one of their first celeb voices. But hopefully we won't even miss him. ;p
There IS a villain...multiple villains, actually. And Leiv Schreiber is playing one of them (most likely the big baddie).
shareThat's kind of a bummer that Discord won't be featured in the movie. He's become a more prominent character over time and personally if the changelings could be immune to his chaos, I don't see why the villains in the movie couldn't be more powerful than him.
