Why does John wear a tie on investigations?
shareCould be he prefers to look sharp on camera. Another possibility is to contrast with Chad's clothing, which looks like Goodwill seconds.

I have met and spoke with John on several occasions and he is ALWAYS dressed like that. Seriously, always.
He is also nothing like he is on the show... it's so weird.
I meant to put that even before the show he dressed like that too.. just saw him this weekend and still the same lol.. I think it's just his style.
