That was never in the movie...if I do recall. They never showed her having any interest in Freddy. And she's not like Miranda's character at all.

shareSchool of Rock (2003) is supposed to be a 4th grade class room. Personally I had my first full blown crush in 2nd grade so I think anyone of any age can have a crush.
The television series stars kids who are teen age though. I think it's supposed to be 8th grade from the look of it. The actors who play Summer and Freddy are 15 and 18 in real life.
Fun fact. In both the movie and the series, the actor who plays Freddy is significantly older than the other kids.
