HOW CAN THEY JUSTIFY THIS?
Even the characters have the same name, it's too early to say if it's good or not but come on, give it SOME originality

shareIt's awful.
shareThe credits mentioned Richard Linklater as a producer so I wouldn't lose hope. I liked it!
sharethe credits also say michael jacobs is behind gmw but that's a trainwreck
shareDoes he really have anything to do with it though?? Other than taking the $$s? I'm ok if he's getting $$'s to fund some new arthouse movie, but .. this does not look good. Richard Linklater is my favourite director - I'm worried to check this out.

WE GOT MOVIE SIIIIIGN!
So was the first episode just the whole movie condensed into 30 minutes so that people who haven't seen the original have an idea of what's going on?
Is this supposed to be a continuation of the movie?
It's basically a retelling, but the first episode doesn't cover the whole movie.
"Though I will ask you to refrain from making speeches atop cafeteria tables in the future."
this is really really, really really bad even by kid show standards.
it feels like a horrible parody instead of an adaptation of the movie
