Torture Porn to the Extreme

Is exactly what this movie is. It's not a horror as there is nothing scary. It is just unbelievably gross and intended for a very small demographic. I guess the film makers just wanted to see how far they could take it, and they took it all the way. The effects are good and the masks were creepy, but it's impossible to recommend this film to anyone.

I think you underestimate the size of the demographic.there are festivals all over the world for these types of films.

My only complaint is I would have liked to see more yellow fatty tissue present.

"Torture Porn" is a stupid phrase. There is nothing "arousing" about it. How about something like "Graphic Horror".

Webster says:

"pornography: the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction"

Emotional reaction is not necessary arousal.

There is "food porn". Just creatively placed food on plates, for no other reason than to make photos of it. Food is usually eaten, not photographed. So the term fits. Food that is created for the fun of looking good.

With certain movies, the "porn" here is the "torture" part. It has no meaning, its just because its practically possible - and its often the reason the film sells.

It has nothing to do with arousal. That would be probably "torture erotica", which also exists as a BDSM subgenre.
