Promising start, predictable ending

I enjoyed the first half of this but the after the ending became painfully apparent I checked out.

Side note, why are husbands so stupid in movies like this? They always believe crazy strangers over their wife's, it makes no sense.

Yeah. I stopped after the camera pic scene where they'd replaced the pics and the nursery pic. I do not waste time on movies where people just dismiss (the own husband... who thought they were strange from the start?!) It was unbelievable. GRanted, I would have not broken into their apt but taken a pic of her breastfeeding from the window... solved it all.

I was disappointed in how predictable and unoriginal the movie turned out to be. Then when they dragged out the "reveal" in the end when it was very obvious and clear that dragged this movie down even more.

Totally agree, Clemence was good as the worried pregnant careerwoman then as the new mum to a baby that would not sleep. But as soon as he said where is the spare key, missing from its hook on the door, then did nothing about it I lost interest. I thought no-one who lives above a couple of potential nutters would fail to change the door lock. Other bits made me think well of the plotting tho. Did downstairs neighbour actually go to hospital and lose the baby or did they cover it up cos that pic of them holding Billy looked like they were standing outside an official building after registering him as their own.

And another interesting one was did they know she had a key to their place and would find all the pics etc, then they removed them to make her look deranged? After all, they made such a huge deal out of the alarm system then it wasn't set that day. Good engrossing film at the beginning, v disappointing in the end.
