Can you say "plagiarism"...?

Some say homage to Polanski`s Repulsion. But there is a line between homage and plagiarism and this movie clearly crossed that line if you ask me. During the entire movie I just sat there and shook my head. I couldnt believe someone was allowed to do this movie.

Yeah these type of movies is all about the director, i have not seen any dialogue from the actress to keep the movie alive. These people should be banned from making movies, absolutly terrible.

You said it mister.

If you think this movie crossed the line into plagiarism, you clearly have no idea what plagiarism is.

The Titanic sinks, Bruce Willis is a ghost, and Rosebud is a sled

Evidently you don't.

This movie takes several ideas, events, scenes, motifs and visuals from Repulsion directly. The fact that there are differences does not absolve it. There are so many similarities that no reasonable person would pretend to believe that Darling wasn't designed to be an imitation.

I've never seen "Repulsion," but I will say that another of Keating's movies, "Pod," was a blatant rip of Friedkin's "Bug" (and drastically inferior). Kinda seems like his thing.
