He had a different car.


I know this is a really big nitpick considering how inconsistent the whole movie is, but in this he drives a blue Plymouth Roadrunner. In the first movie his Hemi was an orange 1967 Plymouth GTX (the new Roadrunner might be the same year. I couldn't tell.) That car was a big plot point in the original movie. Seems odd to change it, and I know they changed and messed up a lot of things. Like I said, it's a nitpick. They could have at least got a car that was the same color.

I noticed this too. Guess those classic car rental rates are pretty high...

What is even more odd is that at one time, David Spade owned that car. I believe that the Orange GTX was one of the ones from Tommy Boy that Spade kept for himself.
