Why is the title Tatau instead of Tatoo.the usual way of spelling the word?
shareWell, first of all, the most common spelling is "tattoo".
But either spelling is a bastardization of the original Samoan "tatau".

How are you going to say the usual way of spelling? You mean English way as if English/Kings English is the first and only way you spell/say things.
It really shows your mindset, subconscious elitism regarding how you see yourself and where other cultures fall in line "after" the <i>usual</i> way. Which is.... ding ding ding standard English.
