Now that all of the synths are conscious it doesn't seem like there is anywhere to go. I'm curious as to what they do now since it is no longer this small group/family of conscious synths against the world.

Some of the characters expressed their opinions that if every synth achieved consciousness...it would be "chaos." Speaking as a fan of dystopian stories, I'd love to see the story go in that direction. But I don't think it will.
shareI thought they would stop, should stop, at having the consciousness download fail for most. With some new Synths conscious, there'd be ample room to go in so many directions, but not complete chaos. And, yes, chaos is the most likely result of all the Synths knowing who and what they are.
