In the show he's called Dr Shar but on imdb he's credited as Dr Singh?

Character names can and do change from the name listed in pre-release materials.
It can also be bloody hard to read film and TV credits sometimes - especially if the programme makers use "fancy" typeface / backgrounds / effects.
