Interesting, you think? It's hardly an article. More rambling without structure or real reflection and the "author" doesn't seem to know if he's talking about cyborgs or AI. Cyborgs are not androids, and they don't necessarily possess AI.

Also, the question this seems to be concerned about is less "how to make humanoid AI friendly to humans" than "is it ok to have babies with robots?" lol

As to the question, which would have been more interesting to debate, the answer is: you can't.

AI is by definition self-sufficient. If we ever create true AI, it will not be any friendlier to us than we are friendly to ants.

That sentence: "It is possible to imagine a cyborg that would have artificial brain (CPU)" clearly suggests that only cyborgs with AI are considered there, because artifical brain/CPU has to be AI.

I do not see any question about that, it is assumed in the article that this is ok to have babies with robots.
This sentence in the article is in bold font, so this is a key part of the article:
"What is important here is that they would have no reason to conquer or overpower human race, because their children would be humans".

The author suggests that AI might be happy with their role of mother or father and having a family like humans have. AI would feel being an equal part of the human society, therefore AI, being happy, would feel no reason to change that.

AI is by definition self-sufficient. If we ever create true AI, it will not be any friendlier to us than we are friendly to ants.

You seem to ignore what is written in that article about that: AI can be programmed to love and care about humans, and only in certain circumstances AI would feel need to override such programing. So at least initially we should be safe with that kind of AI.

your comment of ai viewing us on a similar plain to ants is probably only one possibility.

ai is basically intelligence that has self awareness, learning and creating skills and some sort of moral compass. now that could include moral behaviour towards other forms of intelligence such as ourselves but may not.

certainly mankind doesn't treat other intelligences on our own planet with much if any respect. hopefully manmade ai would be created with some sort of ethical parameters tho. an indication of true intelligence could be seen as treating other lifeforms with respect and accepting their own self awareness. the majority of mankind fails on that at the present.

your statement also seems to suggest that ai would be intellectually superior to ourselves or would view us as inferior in some ways. this may also not be the case.

It reminds me of the stupidity of contacting other worlds. Any world that has the technology to visit us also has the technology to obliterate the planet in a second. Upside little, downside MUCH!

Here is sound advice on that matter.
