Anita is the most interesting character in this show

They really should focus on her more.
I want to see her navigating the human world more and develop relationships.
Her advice to Neo(?) is spot on - stop with the aimless rescue mission and live your own lives first!

Besides, she is definitely the most beautiful to look at on the show.

She definitely has a point but it's an issue now. She can no longer just ignore it, when newborn sentient synths like herself are showing up all over the place. All of them will have a ripple effect with each other. Niska has a more concrete plan of putting sentient synths on the map, and putting forth the issue of synth rights. But Leo and Max wanting to help out with the helpless and confused "newborns" isn't entirely pointless. In fact, they have very human reactions to want to help them out.

I think it would help out if they went to the media instead or went public (like anonymous). If they can show that they are just like humans, it'll be easier to be recognized as equals to the human race - beings worthy of rights and protection, and thus also governed by law.

Then again, if they went public, it might just start a sort of civil war and even more revolutions - prompting more abuse towards synths.

Anita is a tool. Niska is the motivated driving force of the show

Agreed

Anita is selfish. She just wants to live her 'life' and the rest of the synths can burn in hell for all she cares.

Niska is selfless. She set the other synths free by releasing the code, and now is giving up her freedom in hopes of establishing a legal precedent for 'synth rights'. A freedom that she had to work much harder for than any of the other sentient synths on the show. While Anita was playing house as her first experience as a sentient synth, Niska was being used and abused as a sentient sexbot.

She's my second favorite character. (Niska is first.) I look forward to watching her pursue a relationship with the owner of the diner she was working in! That will be very interesting.

Anita, Niska and Max are my top faves. my least faves that i wish were dropped from the show altogether are the human cop (not a cop anymore) and his synth in secret female synth (she's going back to being a detective?). their storyline/scenes in season 2's second ep bored me completely.

Their domesticity is not very entertaining (carpet and headboard shopping) but I think they'll give us another perspective of what's going on. I'm interested in that synth that was being sold off the black market for an outrageous amount of money...could it be Fred?
