Idiot

What made her think they were gonna be fair about her sentience. If she was considered sentient it would be and for the company.

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

... but rather martyrdom

The entire point of her turing herself in is to set the standards for all future syths who will eventually committ crimes or/and murder. Once Niska is convicted as a syth, it will bring forth global laws for them to follow just like us lowly humans. She's doing this for her kind. I appropriate it very much. If she acutally wins the case against her, then that;s just sloppy writting.

And what makes her or Laura think that they'll keep their word? In fact, they're trusting one guy to decide if Niska is really sentient. If the government wants to cover the whole thing up, he can just declare that she isn't and have her destroyed.

In reality the govt/authorities would have destroyed her immediately.

I know. The moment Laura went to the government to ask about the possibility of Niska being given a trial, there would have been a strike team at her home looking for Niska.
