What is eith the sound?

The sound is awful! The voices barely above a whisper - yet the rest of the film is so loud that it's beyond annoying! It's a horror film for that fact alone! I think it would be a watchable movie other than that fact - because the plot itself seems fairly decent! I don't think it's watchable given the fact that you have to really listen to hear what they're saying. One star.

YES! I had to turn the subtitles on.Id turn it up to hear what they were saying then the jump scares would blow my beer off the table.

So right, if not for the sound troubles, it may hold some enchantment for me. I may re-watch this with sound down & subtitles. And cocktail sippee cup. The young actress that plays the sleeping beauty seems to hold potential.

Soooooo many movies do this and I don't know why. It hurts the viewing experience. Why can directors not make the sound a constant level?
