Harlie's Daughter
What's up with that girls hair? Is she wearing a wig? Her hair is so strange it makes her head look like it's shaped funny. Is it just me?!

shareDefinitely you. She is stunningly beautiful and no less because of her hair.
shareI'm not saying the girl is not gorgeous. She's beautiful! I'm just wondering why the top of her hair is like 3inches thick off of her head. It's like someone who has thick curly hair brushing it our without straightening. It almost looks like a bad wig or something.
shareI thought her hair while at the club looked odd for a 16 year old. Maybe she was trying to look older? I thought bad wig too.
Drea's hair was making me crazy too as she was running in to make a bust. I never had hair that long, but I would think it would get in the way.
Thank you! I'm glad it's not just me. Yeah Drea's hair drives me nuts too.

I thought the same thing, fulci. Has a Down's look. Not an issue, but people saying she's "stunningly beautiful" are hyperbolic. Or maybe they live in places where they don't see good looking people.
shareKeep in mind that they are deliberately toning her down to appear much younger. When I mention how hot she is, I'm referring to the actual Sarah Jeffery, not the character on the show. This past year, she played a ?fourteen year old in Wayward Pines. Again, they had to make her look much younger than her actual age.
shareI see she's 19 and about to turn 20. I thought she looked a little older than her character.

Agreed. And the way she combs her hair definitely doesn't help.

Yeah, she's odd to watch. I was thinking it was her overly large forehead that was her most prominent feature.
shareWatch her in Rogue. A
better series, where she plays the daughter to a dirty cop but this time it's to Thandy Newton who has aged much better than Lopez.

Wow! Thandie is now old enough to play a teen's mom. Where has the time gone???
How is she in Rogue?
No, there's nothing "strange" about her hair unless you've never before seen straightened ethnic hair in your entire life. The actress Sarah Jefferies is of mixed-race in real life and that's what many part Black people's hair looks like--even when straight, it is very thick. My hair used to look somewhat similar to hers. Very very thick even when ironed.

My hair is curly and thick and it never looks like that. I think it's her forehead.

We have so much in common. We both love soup and snow peas.
There are other ethnicities in this world you know. You need to get out of your basement and experience other cultures. Hair does come in a lot of other styles, textures, shapes other than just blonde and straight. I think she's a beautiful young girl.

Well she actually looks a lot different when she wears her hair straight. The look on the show really isn't a good look on her, and it doesn't really make her look younger either. When will Hollywood learn.

bumping this thread because in the latest episode, where Cristina is waiting to see Miguel in prison, she is talking to Harlee, her hair pulled back in a ponytail and she really really looks like she has Down Syndrome. It is not stated in her bio but perhaps it's something that is kept private.
there are others in this thread that seem to think she has it also and I'm just very curious.
I've noticed 'the look' but I think she just has a kind of sulky face , if that makes sense.
shareNothing about looking sulky, it's her eyes mostly. They have that Down quality. Not meaning to say there's anything 'wrong' with having Down, just curious. I also think Kate Hudson has a bit of the "look" too, specially the eyes.
