I can't find any articles or even a hint of ratings that would confirm a 2nd season. I'm thinking that there will be. SYFY is very serious with their new programs, the expanse for instance. The level of quality of Incorporated shows that this is more of a long term investment for them. Also Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are involved, and I see a commercials for this show every day on random channels. Anyway fingers crossed for season 2! I'm sure if they put it on a streaming service after season 1 is done, it will get attention.
shareIt's not one of those low-budget and poorly produced syfy shows so I guess there will be a season 2.
shareSaw a ad this morning that said all new, Wednesdays at 10 EST.
I think it's a genuinely good looking dystopian/futuristic-ish show. Acting is decent and the storyline is engaging. I thought it was kinda average judging just on the pilot but now I'm at episode 8 and it's gotten even better and more gripping.
I do hope it will get renewed for another season of 10 episodes, or maybe even 13.
If Syfy is just basing its decision on same day ratings (in 18-49 or viewers), which it probably/hopefully isn't, it doesn't look good for a season 2. Though, 12 Monkeys got renewed for a third season and Wynonna Earp got renewed for a second season with a lower average same day 18-49 rating (Wynonna Earp had a bit more viewers), but Aftermath got canceled with a slightly higher 18-49 rating and more viewers.
I really enjoyed this season, so I hope it gets another one.
It's still up in the air. If you want a second season, tweet at Syfy and demand it! They really pay attention to social media.
shareI hope so. There's still so much to work out.
