LOL...really?? A what-if scenario wherein the globe suffers from massive flooding caused by climate change has you thumbing your nose at it? As a literary device, it's entirely plausible. I guess they could've picked aliens or a plague or any other trope.

It's called imagination. Whether or not it could or would happen is irrelevant. It's a science fiction show where our reality doesn't matter. If you don't want to check your precise idea of reality at the door, SyFy is probably not the best channel for your viewing pleasure.

The show is a bleak look at one very possible, very plausible scenario for future humans. This takes place in like 2070's I believe. Not like they're pushing a global warming agenda and its imminent threat to humanity in a matter of years.

Hell the military could have melted ice caps with a microwave weapon. We dont know how the flooding happened and it doesn't even matter in the context of the show.

Fema Camps are real and will be in America's future. Deal with it.

It's a good show, but that turned me off as well, only because anthropomorphic climate change aka global warming, is a total scam perpetrated by the power elite who stand to make trillions, not to mention gain even more power through carbon exchanges, carbon taxes, and imposed regulations that will monitor our every move.

Climate change alarmism is an extremely lucrative industry. Over $50 billion of federal government grants have funded climate change "research"--more like climate change propaganda--throughout the decades, and this show is probably part of this propaganda as it paints this dystopian future for Americans who failed to do anything to stop it. The subtle message is "you made your own bed..."when the only people ruining our climate--Monsanto, chem trails, weather manipulation, gmos, etc. -- are the same small group who propagate this hoax.

In other words, this scenario is very possible but it will be the design of those with all of the power: the global elite. They will create the conditions thorough legislation and technology that only they control
