Is it also good for adults?

I don't have a little brother/sister (Well my sister is not that young) and I kind of want to see it since some people are really treating this movie like the best movie so far, while others are saying it's too childish and I should not go alone into the theaters because I will just be embarrassed. I'm 18 by the way.

im 22 and i saw it (well the last 2/3 of it anyway) and thought it was really creative. it was pretty funny and honestly was the best Batman movie we've had since Batman Begins

reply

I took my 7 year old to see it, by far the most frequent and loudest laughs were from the dads, me included. If you're a batman fan there's a lot of Easter eggs for you.

reply

Yes, I think a lot of these types of films are often more fun for the adults than the kids!

Dude im 34 and just finished it. Had a complete blast.

reply

I think adults will enjoy it more than kids, actually, because they actually understand the references to the old movies (including Batman '66) and innuendos.

"Oh, my God. Bear is driving! How can that be?!"

reply

Agree! My kids liked it but many of the jokes/references went right over their heads. While I was chuckling.

reply

If you are an adult that enjoys Lego Movie and/or Batman or other comic book based films, then yes you would enjoy this and appreciate the jokes. It probably wouldn't change the mind of any adult who doesn't like this genre.

My husband and I are 42 and we don't have kids. We both loved it.

Heaven forefend someone past puberty enjoy an animated film.

It was great fun that the whole family can enjoy, with or without any younger family members present.
