Oh man! It was meant for kids!

I thought it would be meant for grown ups and kids alike like The Lego Movie but it turned out to be meant for kids....and little ones at that. I couldn't wait until it was over. I don't know why they didn't use the same director. It still was good and had some randomness, and while I want it to succeed so there can be the possibility of a better sequel, if you want to wait for the blurray then you're not missing out on much. The trailer was funnier.

I thought it was better than The Lego Movie (because I'm a big Batman fan) and maybe the comedy was about the same. I'm 23 and I enjoyed it. It didn't seem all that kiddy to me, there was humor that only adults would understand throughout the movie.

Good someone else gets it! People all runnin around like this is some Pixar level four quadrant movie, no way. I can show my grand parents most Pixar movies and they will enjoy them. This movie that would turn off and call it garbage. That's not saying the movie is garbage, that's just saying its aimed very young.

And I don't get everyone acting like this was a JOKE A SECOND! riot. A majority of the jokes consisted of references back to older Batman stuff. Just silly not necessarily funny.

The director of this did work on the first movie, but he's mostly known for Robot Chicken, which explains why this movie ran out of steam fairly quickly. This movie will be fun in spurts in the future. But you could tell the audience was bored with the whole thing by the end.

What are you talking about? I loved it and so did my gf. We saw it yesterday for VDay and were laughing most the time. It was prefect and better than Lego Movie.

I agree. I really wanted to like it, and I laughed a couple times, but halfway through it I just wanted it to be over!

My 5 year old LOVED it.

My 21 and 33 year old male friends adored it, and so did I. I am glad they didn't take any joy out of Batman like they slowly have been with the theatrical adaptions. Quite the opposite, it was fun and camp like DC of the 1940's to the 1960's. I mean DC comics, DC fans who think DC only does hardcore, dark, edgy, or dreary(suck it "Batman can only be dark" Batman fans!) This was the DC that brought us Mister Mxyzptlk, Batmite, The Eraser, Calendar Man, Mister Camera, and various other goofy characters. Thinking of them, I am looking forward to The Music Meister's triumphant return in the Supergirl/The Flash crossover(along with Mister Mxyzptlk in the next Supergirl.) Another great silly villain that Marvel would never have the guts to do.

It has been fun fellow message board users. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15YgdrhrCM8

I agree with the rest of the posters. The first half or first 1/3rd were funny. But after that it became like an after school special. Tell your "21 and 31 year old male friends" or "sons" as others might call it, that you didn't like such and such scene. They will then go on and on about yeah I didn't like this scene and that scene and blah blah. Finally ask them, well it pretty much seems like you hated the whole movie, what did you like???

I used this trick on many paeople who claimed to like Star Wars TFA, and by the end of the conversation it would seem like they hated the whole movie.

And this is not for the "young at heart." The Lego Movie was, but not this. SO QUIT FOOLING YOURSELF!!!!
