James Norton
Amazing performance as Clifford. I dare say he's the best thing about this version.

shareI enjoyed all the performances in here. The actors were very good. James did an excellent job as Clifford. One of the things I really enjoyed about this version was them making Clifford more of a character and less of a stereotype.
shareAgreed. I saw James Norton in person just last Friday as they were filming Grantchester in Cambridge - he's really tall.

Yes, I found his plight much more compelling than the affair between Connie and Mellors, but then they did write the script with this in mind.
That's nice, did you manage to have a chat with him?
shareNo, I didn't! He was with a small group - he was chatting to someone, most likely the director.
But funny you should mention that, because as I was walking along the college, Robson Green was on his own in costume and I said to him 'Have a nice evening!' and he said softly 'You too'. Poor guy was probably trying to concentrate on his lines, lol.
Everything I read about him indicates what a nice person he is (Robson Green). He's fun to watch in Grantchester.
And LOL, I can't help but enjoy his music videos with Jerome Flynn.
OMG you lucky gal! I would literally go weak in the knees if I saw him in person. He is gorgeous!
shareI agree he was wonderful and looked smashing! I have such great respect for him as an actor, he could have easily played the role of Oliver with his looks but I'm glad he played the more challenging role. I think his performance in this tops his AMAZING work in Happy Valley!
James If you ever read this, I LOVE YOU! LOL
he is absolutely sublime...I can't grasp why he's not as huge a star as some other British actors. He's actor, talent..can play bad guy as complex and can play romantic gentle subtle characters. I keep trying to find of his work to watch.
what Jordie?
