I'd rather they'd have hired two unknown actors who could do the book/film justice with sex scenes. If Sean Bean and Joely Richardson can do it, then these two certainly can. Holliday Grainger looks too innocent for this role. Something is way off about the chemistry.
shareI agree about the chemistry; they aren't compelling. But the script is lacking, too. I've watched about 20 mins. and struggled to stick it out that long. That's a bad sign. Other versions of Lawrence's narrative had me glued to the screen.
I still plan to finish it, but it's dropped lower on my catch up list (just above Tommy and Tuppence). 😛
