Nice to see they're cracking the tv market, despite being out of touch and largely uninteresting for over twenty years.

Are you absolutely mad? I have read The New Yorker every week for the past six years and I think it's the most interesting publication available.

One or two good articles, maybe, the rest "I know the situation in [certain part of the world] because my doorman is from there."

I'm baffled as to why you think this. I can only assume you don't read the magazine often.

I think their in-depth coverage of the Syrian conflict, by their on-the-ground reporter, Luke Mogelson, is better than any coverage out there.
