Why the heck didn't the mom grab the gun and bang on the glass of the sauna door to escape.

My dad asked me a similar question when I figured out a math problem in 20 minutes rather than the 1 he took.

Well that wouldn't have been the best idea bc there was only one bullet in the gun and if she broke the glass and clarissa was right there....they'd be toast.
