Great start....and then goes absolutely nowhere

**SPOILERS BELOW**


Wow, the set-up in episode one was terrific and very suspenseful. Then, it seemed like it was more intent and satisifed with solely becoming a story of lost love, rather than the nuts and bolts of this deception and the spy intrigue.

And the final "revelation" of Alex's true mother seems to ring false and even the flashback doesn't provide much satisfaction or resolution.

VERY disappointing. And such a great cast, too.

To me, this was one of the biggest letdowns I've seen in a limited-run series in a long time.
