Great criticism of liberal mania.....

Nothing more violent than a liberal protest (see post-Trump election). The film is a terrific criticism of liberal "ideals" and how removing our freedoms is extremely easy....and scary.

The irony is that they intended it to be a criticism of the alt-right. Ironically, after Trump's victory, the left are behaving exactly how how those supporting the Purge are reported to have acted.

I don't care about a troll who doesn't pay for his opinion telling me how to review movies.

Exactly. The Left is behaving in the same way. It's also amusing how everyone asked Trump before the election if he would "accept" the final vote outcome and its the Dems who are refusing to accept it. Typical hypocrisy from them.

The makers of this film probably didn't realize it but the Dems' actions over the last few months and their ridiculous demonization of Trump exactly mirrors the people in the Purge. That sense of sanctimonious martyrdom, as if they speak for the whole country.

And ironically, it's the LEFT that underperformed with minority voters, not the Right. If any party has left minorities feeling disenfranchised, it's the Dems.

Refusing it so much they're even asking for a recount. Even though the Left's candidate said anyone who didn't except the results of the election was a threat to democracy. This movie is a joke. The entire resistance is African American and the NFFA and its supporters are all white and/or white supremacists. Really could not stand the political narrative the writers and director tried to create with this. Complete and utter backfire.
