No grenades?

No smoke grenades or frags?

Do these people play video games even? How come they were so unprepared for The Purge after 18 years???

Wasn't there some rules against using explosives? I think it was mentioned in first movie.

What I wonder about is why arson isn't a much bigger deal during The Purge. I mean, if your intended victim holes himself up in a shop or his home, set the place on fire.

I know. But then, the movie says that 99% of the population stays at home and nothing violent happens. So, maybe the actual participation in The Purge is much lower than the movie shows and we are just seeing highlights from the evening's entertainment.

Still, I'd, at least, invest in a few good weapons, a sturdy door and lock, and then get a good night's rest the day before and sit up all night, behind the door, with my finger on the trigger.

Or, take a trip to Spain for the weekend. Apparently this does not happen in other countries.
