Glad to know that Norma and Big Ed finally found happiness...

It's depressing to think how many of the cast have died over the years. Twin Peaks seems doomed to simply fade away into TV history.

If it didn't fade into history after season 2 and the film that flopped at the box office (FWWM) then it surely won't flop after S3, which was brilliant.

Besides, the cast of every TV show will "die over the years" . . by that logic ALL TV shows will fade away.

It's doubtful at this point that there will be any semblance of a S4, but as of this date, we still have the actors and actresses still around (character names given here): Cooper, Cole, Laura, Leland, Sarah, Dianne, Hawk, Bobby, Shelly, Audrey, Big Ed, Nadine, Dr Jacoby, Sylvia, Johnny, Ben Horne, Jerry Horne, Dennis (or Denise) James, Andy, Lucy, Betty (Briggs), Mike (Nelson), Lana (Milford), Annie Blackburn, Carol Struycken, Ronette. Even Josie, Donna Heyward, Michael Ontkean are possibilities.

And if they could summon a CGI BOB and Major Briggs for S3, there are possibilities for others as well.

Lastly, the new characters introduced in S3 can certainly be in a hypothetical S4.

Plenty of cast around to work with. And new additions are always welcome.

Twin Peaks is legendary among TV shows and will always be counted amongst the pinnacle of the format, and many would say it’s the greatest ever.

Watching S3 makes you realise how lazy and rote most TV is.
