I'm not totally enamored with The Return, although It's seems to me that Lynch is trying to give a sense of what Bob/Cooper wound up doing. I'm sure the fellow got out of Twin Peaks as quickly as possible. Being a demon he killed his way into money and connections and Lynch seems to me to be describing it as much as feasible. Bob even says he's supposed to actually go back in The Black Lodge at some point and he doesn't want to. It always seemed to me that Cooper was the main character in 'Twin Peaks', so I think Lynch wants to deal with it mainly. I like how Hawk is going to Glastonbury Grove for some reason, considering they found Annie there. He seems to expect someone else to come out, maybe Cooper. I imagine Annie left town understandably, maybe similar to Donna (who had every reason).

I'm hoping to find out how Audrey is. Maybe what happened to Agent Desmond, although it doesn't look like we will. Interesting to see Ben Horne in one piece, and brother Jerry becoming a pothead. Apparently Catherine left town also.

It looks like Big Ed stayed with Nadine, interesting. And Bobby Briggs the cop, quite a change, maybe trying to honor Dad's memory. It looks like Sarah Palmer is barely hanging on, although she is apparently influenced by the Black Lodge also. And Lucy and Andy's son is odd. Apparently Shelly had a daughter presumably by Bobby. Dr. Jacoby the talk show host is rather funny, maybe makes sense though. Nadine likes him anyway.

I guess I'm into whatever though, I didn't really expect the sequel, so it's interesting. I hope they emphasize Twin Peaks more though. I imagine there will be another fatality to investigate.
