Must they be viewed in order for the sake of continuity or can any of them be watched out of order?
The plots of the first two sounded dreadfully boring and I only wanted to try this one.

Each film is pretty stand-alone with it's story, but you'd have a deeper appreciation for the characters & what they've been through watching the whole trilogy.
Besides, all 3 films are great. Don't find them boring myself, but everyone's got different tastes. If you enjoyed the Girl w/a Dragon Tattoo, it's probably a safe bet you'd enjoy these 3.
The first two are better imo.
shareHow can the plot of the first 2 sound dreadfully boring to you? Anyway you can watch the movie in any order but you cannot miss the first 2 movies. They are way better than the 3rd one. This one is very good to but not on par with the first 2, especially the first Keeper of lost causes. Best of the series.
