Does anyone know if there are gonna be more film adaptations?

If i am not mistaken the Department Q bibliography consists of 6 volumes but i can't find any info if they intend to release the rest in theaters.

Out of the 3 so far i would say this one was the weakest (at least in terms of writing), but still very gripping and riveting to watch.

Zentropa is allowed to make 4 movies. 1 remaining.
but not the remaining 6. the author does not want Zentropa to make more movies.

That probably mean this was the last one. If they only have the rights for one more, I doubt they will do it.

Why not? If they actually paid for the rights and they are entitled for 1 last release, why they wouldn't proceed with it?

Why? An American series would not be better, particularity locations and the support acting would be a massive step down.

What you mean is he wants Hollywood money, he will learn the hard way the locations in Denmark and the casting are priceless.
