I could have looked past all the problems with this film had they just..
...killed her b itch of a mother. If anyone ever needed to die in a horror movie, it was her. I kept waiting for the daughter to come unglued and tell her nosy mother off, but she took all of the verbal abuse like a good little obedient dog, right up until the credits rolled. And why didn't she ever tell the husband to eff off for not believing her? Plenty of setup, no payoff. This film was a hot mess from the bottom up. Even the sound editing was sub-par. People would close doors, and it wouldn't make any noise. How do you eff that up? Blech, what a waste of time.
