Effective Horror, 7/10

I think this film mostly got a good balance of subtlety, suggestiveness, symbolism and scares. It was certainly better than 70% of all the other minor horrors I have seen recently. If you want to see some really terrible ones watch the Poltergeist reboot or On The Other Side Of The Door. This is a cast iron classic compared to those stinkers. It was also better than We Are Still Here, which is one of the better recent horrors.
