the US/UK title 'Disorder' vs French 'Maryland'

I can see why they didn't use 'Maryland' in the USA; it would be misleading to many of the public (given that it's one of our State names - for those who aren't aware).
But I can't really figure on 'Disorder', because I don't think of it as being quite the good lead-in to the story. Even when I watched the trailer at the theatre, I wondered why it would be called that, but I definitely wanted to see it, given the actors and plot.
It's not my business to pick a title, of course, but I wouldn't have used 'Disorder' is all I'm saying here.

I thought of it being linked to his PTSD (the 'D' standing for Disorder, of course). I also think it works because her family situation becomes so chaotic; such a *beep* a total state of disarray and disorder by the end.
