Topical film, fantastic plot

Great film, a nuanced engagement with the timely but also universal topic of migration.

The way the plot developed was superb, the explosion of violence was really impressive. I liked the way Dheepan may not fit to conventional west european conceptions of hardness but he kicked *beep* of the ghetto youth since unlike them he had actual real experience of conflict. Had to think of La Haine, in the way that this will probably get better as it ages...

Only thing i didn't like was i would rather the girl or the woman gave the title to the film, not the guy... since it's all their story really.
